Dr. Techksell McKnight

The coordinator from UTMB for the Think Pink / Check It Out program is Dr. Techksell McKnight.
Dr. McKnight's Statement: Hello my name is Dr. Techksell McKnight and I am currently one of the Oncology faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). I have also completed training in Internal Medicine and General Preventive Medicine at UTMB, where I earned a Masters in Public Health as well. I have a special interest in cancer prevention and when I learned about the D' Feet breast cancer initiative, I was more than happy to participate.

I believe that community out reach efforts such as "Think Pink", a program aimed at educated teenagers about breast health, are the best ways to teach individuals in the community about pertinent health issues and to develop relationships with the local neighborhood establishments (schools, churches, etc.).
