Educational Program to teach Breast Self Examination
D'Feet has provided educational programs in Galveston County high schools and colleges, professional organizations and small groups on the importance of learning the technique of breast self examination (BSE). D'Feet volunteers are available to speak at health fairs, professional meetings, schools and other community activities. They speak on the importance and the results of the screening mammography program in Galveston County, and the importance of maintaining breast health and learning Breast Self Examination. Above all, the program is designed to empower the woman or student to take charge of their breast health from and early age.
